Apple Maps
Apple Maps looks up to scratch with IOS7. It’s going to replace Google Maps and NAVV. That warms my heart, it’s nice to be able to bookmark a location with the convenience inherent in iOS7 to have the turn by turn directions with auto day and night settings, just sweet!
It’s great isn’t it?
It’s lovely how some legal tender can solve your problems. Then somebody says, ‘no, it’s not actually what we say it is.’ But then indentured servants always hold out for the money. Sometimes they live long enough to get it.
Every so often
It’s not an unusual shot, historical record or of any real significance. Yet the combination of a camera phone, a camera phone app and a teaspoon of boredom were enough to make a shot interesting.
I keep meaning to bring a medium format camera with me for those trips as I seem to have an affinity for the square format.
It’s Ok…
It’s ok to eat baked beans. It’s ok to eat pasta and cheese. It’s ok to eat plain toast, drink black coffee, tea with milk. It’s ok. It’s ok to eat in your car, walk in the park, watch people passing by. It’s ok to window shop. It’s ok. It’s ok to aspire, it’s ok to play monopoly. It’s ok to have a trade, an education, a work ethic. It’s ok. Sometimes enough is enough. It’s ok to value your health. It’s ok to be imperfect. It’s ok.
Barcelona Marathon 2013
The interesting thing about running a marathon is really, encountering the people who have chosen to run it and those who come to support the runners. Barcelona was a great experience, and the stoic yet warm nature of the people was so obvious. I think I’ll run this one again. Any society, I believe, is preserved by it’s own sense of humour, and protest, can be subtle and determined.
A study on Personality
Architecture can be said to be emblematic of society, could then interiors lead one to conceive the internal world of the progenitor? In this case the elements within the frame come across loud and clear.
